Services
Specialist services across bioinformatics, data engineering, analytics and capability development, delivered individually or as an integrated project.
Bioinformatics
Analysis and interpretation of bacterial, fungal and other microbial sequence data.
Connecting genomic findings with epidemiological context for research and surveillance.
Research-focused tertiary analysis of human genomic variant data.
Human host and pathogen gene expression analysis, from quality assessment to biological interpretation.
Reproducible, documented pipelines that your team can run and maintain.
Getting the study design and data plan right before analysis begins.
Public-health analytics
Integrating laboratory, clinical, epidemiological and operational data into situational analyses, surveillance insights, decision-support systems and executive reporting.
Analysing free-text health records, patient-safety incidents and complaints to identify recurring themes, classify narratives and synthesise findings for service improvement.
Public-health and epidemiological analyses that describe patterns, trends and priorities in available data.
Dashboards, decision-support systems and reporting outputs for technical, programme and executive audiences.
Structured, consistent data that can be shared, validated and reused.
Bringing clinical, laboratory and genomic data together reliably.
Applied tools for well-defined scientific and health-data problems.
Training and implementation
Hands-on training, mentorship and workflow transfer for laboratories, universities and public-health institutes.
Planned offerings
The following offerings are being developed or explored. They are not currently available as confirmed BioinfoX services.
In development
BioinfoX is developing a coordinated offering that connects sequencing through partner core facilities with our bioinformatics workflows, analysis and interpretation support.
Sequencing arrangements, availability and delivery terms will be confirmed before services are offered.
Partnerships being explored
BioinfoX is exploring distribution and implementation partnerships with software providers to support research and clinical genomics workflows in Southern Africa.
The planned offering would combine access to commercial bioinformatics solutions with local deployment, workflow integration, training and technical support. Products, availability and support arrangements will be announced once agreements are in place.
Describe your data and objectives and we will suggest a practical scope.
