This notice explains how Terra Informatix (Pty) Ltd t/a BioinfoX handles information submitted through this website.

What we collect

When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, organisation (optional), service of interest and message.

How we use it

We use these details to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, discuss or prepare a proposal. If you select SNP2Cluster Platform (register interest), you also request a notification when that platform becomes available. This does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing. You can withdraw that request by emailing info@bioinfox.co.za.

Storage and sharing

Enquiries are delivered to our business email account. We do not sell your information. Hosting and email services process information needed to operate the website and deliver enquiries. Please do not send patient-identifiable data or confidential research datasets through this form.

Spam prevention and technical information

The form limits submission attempts using a keyed hash derived from the connecting IP address and short-lived attempt counters stored outside the public website directory. The limiter does not store raw IP addresses, names, email addresses or messages. Counters expire after ten minutes and expired entries are removed during subsequent requests. A random site-specific key remains in the limiter state file. Hosting access and error logs may separately record technical request information under the hosting provider's arrangements.

Cookies, fonts and analytics

This release does not set a contact-form session cookie and does not include advertising or analytics tracking. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives network request information, including your IP address. Hosting-provider cookies or logging are outside this application code.
